An incredibly open and honest personal account

I was struck throughout this memoir by the courage that it took for Liz Schuch to write her very open and honest account of dealing with this disorder. She doesn't hold back on what the ordeal was like for her family, friends and most of all for herself. Her book will be incredibly helpful for anyone dealing with bipolar disorder, whether personally or as a family member or friend. The book strikes a perfect balance throughout and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Liz has quite a story to tell and she does it well. Bravo, Liz! Jane

An awesome read

This book was an excellent read. The first couple chapters had me in tears, for I felt for the author, her family and the pain they were going through. I enjoyed the authors actual accounts of her journey with biploar disorder. I feel this book can be very helpful for people suffering and people who have family members or friends that are suffering from this debilitating disorder. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

More Than Bipolar

What an open account of one's history - emotional, physical, and mental with the Bipolar illness. The sensitivity and courage it takes to manage life, in general and especially while dealing with this illness, is a remarkable testament to Liz. Her book provides an incredible path to understanding the illness and offers support to others. Thank you Liz.
